View/Download Adobe PDF Maps: SIZE: Look for the A after the county name. These are Adobe Acrobat PDF map files. These maps are approx. 22 x 45 inches in size. To print a part of a map on 81/2 x 11 paper, use the Zoom feature of Acrobat to obtain the part of the map you want to print. Once it shows on your screen, click the "print screen" button on your keyboard. Then, open your word processing program and paste the screen shot on a page. You should be able to resize it, change the page from portrait to landscape, if necessary, and it will print on an 8 1/2 x 11. You can use the Zoom feature of Adobe to view details. TO DOWNLOAD: In IE & Netscape: Open the item, then using the Acrobat toolbar at the top of the map, click on the diskette symbol and save it to your computer. Once downloaded, you may print it on your plotter, take the file to a local copy center and have it printed in a large size, or view it from your home computer at your leisure. To Download Microstation Maps: INFO: Look for the blue M after the county name. These are Microstation CADD files. To view the maps in this format you must have Microstation installed on your computer. NOTE: Counties with the "M" after the name in black with no underline are still being prepared. As soon as they are ready we will post them here. TO DOWNLOAD: We have made each map file into a self-extracting zip file to make it easier to download. Click the Blue "M", next to the county name, then save it to a location on your computer when you see the prompt. Remember - It won't do you any good to download Microstation files if you don't have access to a computer with Microstation. You may also call NDOR Office Services (402-479-4503) to order the county maps in various sizes. In order to recoup printing costs, there is a charge for the maps if they are ordered through Office Services. County Maps: The Microstation Maps have been updated as of Feb. - 2003, and use the Nad 83 Design Standard
