Chem Lab - What We Do
The NDOR staff who work in the Chem Lab utilize both “wet” chemistry and analytical instruments to perform a variety of tests on a number of different materials. We perform analytical and physical chemistry testing on several, more “local” products, such as aluminum sign blanks, concrete mixing water, cotton sample bags, stone aggregates, reflective sign sheeting, bridge deck chloride cores, gas chromatography for environmental samples, ice removal compounds, grease, and hydraulic fluid.
